THEE POETRY LIVING ROOM 02

with Billy Octave

the grass
grows
around me
it's almost as long as my hair

fucshia dances with
auquamarine
and branches
budding

did I shave today?
did I shower?
is it time yet?
or just lawnmowers
mowing

Jean jackets
on a metal chair
on the table

The device
in my bag
is set to silent

I set an alarm
I hope it rings

I see a pearl

Ants crawling on a pearl
streaked with rubies
crawling in every direction
always returning

I should go home

I give you permission to be an animal

Can I be a fox?
A burrowing fox
warm underground
heart full of water
